About Rapti Region
The Rapti region, located within the Mid-Western Development Region of Nepal, comprises five districts: Dang, Salyan, Rukum, Rolpa, and Pyuthan. This area is a blend of the Himalayas, hills, and plains, rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. Despite the political changes in Nepal, the Rapti region remains close to the hearts of its people.
Who Are We?
Founded under the chairmanship of Bishweshwar Regmi, Rapti Society Japan was established to provide a platform for Nepalis from the Rapti region living in Japan. Our organization is non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit. We aim to unify the hardworking individuals from the Rapti region residing in Japan and support them in every aspect of life.
Our Mission
Our mission extends to the development and preservation of the arts, literature, culture, natural heritage, and tourist sites of the Rapti region. We also stand ready to support during natural and human-made disasters in Nepal. Together, we strive to share the joys and sorrows of our fellow Nepalis back home.
