The second convention of Tokyo Rapti Society Japan was held on June 30, 2019, in Tokyo.
During this convention, Yuvaraj Regmi was elected as the President and Prakash Oli from Rukum Purba as the General Secretary. Following this, a new 27-member executive committee was formed. The convention, chaired by Visheshwar Regmi and with program coordination by Prakash Oli, also appointed Visheshwar Regmi as the Protector. The senior vice-president of the committee is Vikas Oli, vice-presidents include Prem Prakash Roka Magar, Narayan Buddha Magar, Manraj Bishwakarma, Prakash Oli, Pancha Chaudhary as the secretary, treasurer Keshav Bhandari, assistant treasurer Aayushma Pun Magar and spokesperson Kamal Batha Magar.
Similarly, Secretary Prakash Oli informed about the selection of members such as Yuwak Shahi, Vishwaprata Budha, Prabin Sharma, Pratij Budha, Sunil Gautam, Krishna Roka Magar.
The convention also elected a 7-member advisory committee consisting of Dr. Netraprakash Bhandari, Rajan Kesi, Vishnu Poudel, Sharad Pokhrel, Taraprasad Budha Magar, Dr. Kanailal Chaudhary, and Ravi Pun. During the convention, a review of programs conducted from 2013 to the present was conducted. At this occasion, work papers and financial reports were presented and unanimously approved. The convention also endorsed proposals to centralize efforts for the development of Rapti and its entirety in upcoming programs. The convention passed proposals to unite all Rapti residents in Japan and support Rapti development. Jaya Prakash Roka Magar from the Nepali community in Australia also had a notable presence at the event.
